I just cleaned my lab desk and bench for the first time in ages. I had only been using half of the desk, since I was originally sharing it, but I decided to expand. I'm not sure what I'll do with all the surface area now. Hopefully, not cover it with piles of crap again, at least.

I went to a recruiting event at a cool bowling place with TV screens and lights in the lanes, so I thought I'd get an interesting photo there. Instead, I spent all my time talking to people I never see and had to find something on the way home to photograph.

These sheets of ice were falling down as I walked past. I didn't think I got a very good photo of them, but I didn't want to stand underneath them for long, either.

The screen is unfixable, but I took my old hard drive with me to the help centre and got some photos back. Yay! Sadly, they don't back up music. Although, I'm tempted to start saving my music in a folder titled "important coursework", since they just deselected the "my music" folder before saving the rest. I also got a chocolate after I explained how last time I went there they claimed to have recovered data, but then couldn't find it, and also lost my power cord.
